Today we are going to review past simple.

Work on your notebook.Write the date.

Leed antes de hacer el ejercicio.

Primero vamos a recordar  past simple tense:

Si el verbo es regular se añade -ed->play-played.

Si el verbo es irregular hay que estudiarlo->take-took.

Si la frase es negativa utilizo didn`t

I didn´t go to the cinema (y no se pone el verbo principal en pasado: went porque ya hemos puesto el

pasado con didn`t.

Si es interrogativa en pasado uso did y sigo la estructura:

Partícula interrogativa +verbo auxiliar+sujeto+verbo principal

Where did you go yesterday??

Si no hay partícula interrogativa empezamos por el verbo auxiliar

Verbo auxiliar+sujeto+verbo principal.

Did you study English?

No pongo el verbo principal el pasado porque ya lo he puesto en pasado con did
